Description
These air fryer rooster thighs prepare dinner to seasoned, crispy perfection in simply half-hour! Change up the flavors and spices any approach you’d like.
- 1 3/4 kilos boneless rooster thighs, about 4 medium thighs (pores and skin on or skinless)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dry oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon floor black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Preheat your air fryer to 390ºF.
- Place the rooster thighs in a medium bowl and pour the olive oil on high. Sprinkle the spices on high of the rooster, then use your fingers to ensure each side are evenly coated with oil and spices.
- Place the rooster thighs within the air fryer basket (no wire rack), pores and skin facet down. Prepare dinner for 10 minutes, then flip and prepare dinner pores and skin facet up for an additional 10-12 minutes. The rooster is completed when the pores and skin is crispy and the inner temperature registers 175ºF with an instant-read thermometer. DO NOT add PAM to the air fryer as it’s going to smoke, the rooster has sufficient oil to not want it.
- Let the rooster relaxation for five minutes, then serve along with your most well-liked sides.
Notes
- Oven technique: Preheat your oven to 400ºF and line a baking sheet with a Silpat or parchment paper. Place the rooster on the sheet and bake for 35-45 minutes, till it registers 175ºF with an instant-read thermometer.
